Gallery
The Mythology center has several departments, design, art and the main Gallery. In the Gallery section there is a scale model of a theme park that we have developed and chosen to call the “Sagnagardurinn” the garden of the sagas, stories and myths. Here the ancient beliefs of our forefathers are dramatically explained and become a learning experience.
The Sagagarden shows how our forefathers viewed the world of being divided into nine different worlds. They are: The Jotunheimar, The Niflheimar, Hell, The Black Alfs world, The Elfs world, The Dwarfs world, The Muspells world, The Midgard and the Asgard.
The beliefs of our forefathers are illustrated here in a way that is nowhere to be found.
